 Organisation

The Singapore Labour Foundation (SLF) has 73 institutional members, comprising 12 co-operatives and 61 unions/association which are affiliated to the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). The affiliation is in accordance with the NTUC Constitution which required NTUC affiliated unions, co-operatives/associations to be affiliated to the Foundation. SLF provides annual financial support to NTUC and its affiliated unions and co-operatives/association for their educational, social, cultural and recreational activities. It also extends assistance to lower income union members through its welfare schemes. To provide quality lifestyle for workers, the Foundation has developed a number of clubs and resorts for union members.

 Project

I was tasked with creating content for the SLF Annual Report 2013. In so doing, I had to research and gather information from the internet, as well as liaised with various SLF partner institutions, unions and individuals. I was also expected to conduct interviews with selected individuals in order to come up with articles for the report.
