let’s talk about text, baby.
let me be your ride write or die.
Hiya, I’m Brin. I write because I can, but also because I just really want to and don’t think I’ll ever stop. I’ve been writing professionally for over a decade (yikes), and un-professionally all my life. I’ve served as an Assoc. Creative Director (Copy), Copywriter and an Editor for an eco-centric online platform.
I’ve also done editorial work, ATL & BTL advertising and marketing copywriting, screenwriting, scriptwriting and a whole lot more. But I still believe that my favourite project is going to be my next one.
what kinda words you got?
When it comes to projects I work on, I’d say they’re pretty varied. I could be crafting a full-length press release for an F&B brand in the morning, scripting a retail-focused radio ad at noon, before ending my work day with social media post captions for health & wellness products.
Regardless of project, I just genuinely enjoy helping brands showcase their products or services in the best way possible.

Mostly, yes. But I can also help with social media planning, content strategy, brand direction (copy-wise), and various other things.
I also work with design, photography and development partners too from time to time. So I can help navigate your project from start to finish! -
Well, yes. But also it’s a nickname that one of my favourite clients first came up with, and it just kinda stuck. Also it’s one half of my wedding hashtag. And also also, an ex-colleague got me stationery with ‘The Brin’ printed on it. So I guess I’m stuck with it for life.

Tbh, I really don’t think so. I’m not a fan of charging clients per word or number of pages written (usually a rip off, btw).
If it’ll take me a much longer time to work on your project because of unfamiliarity with the subject matter or scope, then I’ll charge you a little more, or refer you to a friend/colleague who I think is better equipped to help you. If it’s something I’ve done before, then my prices are typically very competitive.
Afterall, I’m a firm believer of the famous proverb by the great philosopher Beyonce: “If you liked it, then you shoulda put a ring on it.” In other words, if you appreciate the work and partnership, you’d be willing to pay enough to show your appreciation and acknowledge its value. chehhhh ~ -
Nope. While I have worked on projects for major organisations in Singapore and beyond, but I’ve also done work for friends starting out their businesses, or individuals hoping to widen their social reach and such.

Uh, no. I left a full-time job I was very happy with to spend more time with my kids. But of course, I can’t resist the pull of an exciting project so I decided to freelance to keep myself occupied and the brainwaves flowin’.
