Well, not literally. But you get what I mean.
I listen to people.
It’s really easy to write stuff you like. It’s a little trickier when you’re writing for other people. So I listen, understand, conceptualise and then get down to business.

I’m Brin, a writer from Singapore. I’m an Assoc. Creative Director (Copy & Content) with a local creative agency, and also the Editor of futr singapore. I’ve been writing professionally for over 10 years, and un-professionally most of my life.
I craft copy for ATL/BTL mediums, including marketing materials like EDMs, brochures and posters, and also ads (print and digital). I’ve worked on content strategy for publications, and social media management spanning a wide range of industries from automotive, F&B to travel and tourism.
Then, there’s also scriptwriting, corporate writing, website SEO, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
When it comes down to it, I’ve always believed that writing is writing. Which is why I never say no to a writing related task. Unless I’m out for a pint or busy mothering, of course.
